I’m delighted to announce that the Gary McLean Golf Academy is now located at Bunclody Golf Club which features it’s own floodlit driving bays, an internal private training bay, practice bunkers and putting greens.   I have also recently installed a custom club fitting bay which includes some of the latest technology available to ensure we can select and fit exactly the right type of golf clubs to suit your game.

At this new facility we can cater for individual golf lessons, group golf lessons and now I can also do lessons on the golf course over 6, 9 and 18 holes.

Golf Woods

Here we’ll review your setup and alignment with a focus on how to be more consistent with your woods hitting them straighter and potentially longer.

Short Game Lesson

Do you struggle in and around the greens? We’ll practice from 30 yards to 3 yards, covering club selection, stance and which method you should use depending on the lie of the ball and if you have to carry any obstacles.

Bunker and Putting Lesson

These are two common parts of the game that could save most amateur golfers loads of shots when they are playing a round. We’ll cover bunker play, hitting on an uphill slope, a flat lie and the dreaded downhill lie. We will also look at hitting out of the bunker to different distances. With putting we’ll examine your setup and alignment, you’re putting stroke, the ball contact and putting distances.
